Caffe Nero – From corner coffee shop to multi-national group – have we really changed?
Caffe Nero has grown from a quirky group of five shops to a multinational group of 425 stores operating in three countries with an unparalleled reputation for excellence and a brand reputation which continues to win it numerous awards and plaudits. This remarkable growth and gain of market share has been matched by its stellar financial performance with year on year profit and cash flow growth. Caffe Nero started life as a small ‘family’ company, went public on the London Stock market and then reverted to a private company again!
This presentation will summarise the changes which have happened over the 12 year life of the business from the following perspectives; Financial, Operational, Training, Property, HR, F&B development, Commercial and Distribution and describe some of the ways we have managed these changes so that the core values of the business remain unchanged and ensured that we have not had to compromise on quality or standards
